Aims & Values

Our talented and dedicated staff are committed to ensuring we get to know each child as an individual. We will meet the needs of all our pupils to achieve their full potential in their academic, creative, personal, physical, moral and spiritual development.

Within the context of Christian belief and practice, our school has developed a set of core values which will continue to underpin all the work we do. These values will have a huge impact as your child develops. They deepen your child's positive values and in doing so, help them consider the implications of their choices in relation to themselves, the communities of which they are a part of and the wider world.

Calthwaite is an inclusive school. We strive to achieve the highest standards for each and every child regardless of their starting point. Whatever your child's individual circumstances, we aim to tailor a curriculum to meet their needs; one which facilities enjoyment in learning and with equal opportunities for all.

I know how vital working in partnership with parents is, in order for children to find a positive and rewarding experience. I strongly believe achievement and enjoyment go hand in hand to ensure each child's excellent progress. I know you will continue to support our high expectations in all areas.
